- The Sears Silvertone 1571 is a cathedral type midget battery radio with long and short wave reception, which means here only from 18 to 550 meters (broadcast and SW). Micro-Vision 3 scale dial. Automatic volume control, one-year dry type 3-volt *A* battery. The cabinet is of rich walnut veneers with burl maple overlays in front.
