Hello I'm currently working on a silvertone 7006 and have been coming across several problems. First of all, the lower half of the dial (55-90) isn"t getting anything but quiet static. Next the upper half gets about 5 stations but they are so covered up with loud static I can't even understand them. I'm rather new to restoring my radios so anything helps. I've considerd replacing the capacitors but they look ok and it doesn't have any old paper capcitors. I'm also working on aligning the radio but this doesn't seem to be working either, and by the way I know that I should be getting a station or two on the lower half of the dial, my area has a couple like: am 560. Thanks, Alec
