  • Modell: Silvertone 7049 - Sears, Roebuck & Co.; Chicago
  • Bemerkung
  • The Sears Silvertone 7049 is an AC operated 6 tube BC band receiver.

See details and summaries about Sears catalogs etc. According to the Sears Silvertone Service Manual (Which was published in May, 1937), the original manufacturer of this model was no longer in business and thus, Source Number 118 took over the service of supply of replacement parts. The original manufacturer is unknown.  Parts supplied for this model by Wholesale Radio Service Co., New York, NY (Sears Manufacturer Source Number Code 118).

According to the Sears Silvertone Service Manual, the chassis and schematic used for this model is also used in model Silvertone 1506.

The data in Riders 5-55 and 5-56 does not match the data from the Sears Silvertone manual for this model.  The schematics are slightly different and have different tube lineups, with the Sears Manual lineup using a 24 tube for the 2nd detector while Rider calls for a 57 tube. Also, the Sears manual does not show a tone control while the Rider schematic has a tone control.
