The Shallcross Four Dial 825 Decade resistance box can be used to accurately dial a resistance from 1 to 11,110 ohms using four decade dials for ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands with 11 switch positions each numbered from zero to 10 (and a repeated 1 for the 1 to 10 ohms switch). The box is solid oak, the face is grade XX Bakelite. The resistances are wirewound.
