    Different model variants:

    • "S": chassis less case with white panel, $109.50

    • "C": hahogany gold-tooled "Classic" leatherette case, $119.50
    • "J": black, "T" tan or "W" white gold-tooled "Contemporary" leatherette case, $124.50

    The Sherwood S-1000-II amplifier was revised multiple times, including different tube line-ups etc.

    The SAMS Photofacts folder shows a revised version with 6BA8A instead of 7199. Below serial number 10,000 12AX7 cathode follower was used.
