- The Unidyne 55AV from Shure is a "Voice Unidyne Cardioid Dynamic Microphone". Impedance: 35 - 50 Ohm. Type 55BV is for 2oo - 250 Ohm (49 USD), and 55CV is a high impedance type (49 USD). These types of microphones have also been manufactured by Shure for David Bogen - see model U10X there. It has been a standard microphone for radio stations etc. - also at times of Elvis Presley etc.
