    Der Mini-Stecker wird in den Kopfhöreranschluss eines tragbaren CD- oder MP3 Players eingesetzt.

    Die Kassette enthält kein Tonband, sondern einen Tonband-Aufnahmekopf. Dieser wird mit Federkraft gegen den im Gerät befindlichen Wiedergabekopf gedrückt. 

    Die Bandbewegung wird durch ein Zwischenrad simuliert, damit die zweite Achse mitdreht und nicht durch Stillstand Bandriss anzeigt.

    The mini plug is inserted into the headphone socket of a portable CD or MP3 player.

    The cassette does not contain a tape, but a write head. This is pressed against the read head in the device using spring force.

    The tape movement is simulated by an intermediate wheel so that the second axis also rotates and does not indicate tape breakage due to idling.
