The Sony 6F-21 series have four known versions, differing on RF band coverage, number of transistors, and power supply requirements. These are the 6F-21W, 6F-21A, 6F-21K, and 6F-21L. Another version of the 6F-21W was produced under licence in Spain.
While all five versions can run from removable dry batteries, the 6F-21WA also features a built-in AC transfomer (the only known version runs on 117VAC). The other four versions feature an EXT POWER IN DC 4.5V jack to plug an AC adapter.
