A portable battery operated recorder designed to Ministry specifications, suitable for use in mobile and airborne applications. The tape transport is constructed on a light but rigid alloy casting. It will accommodate 500ft of tape having a 0.001 inch base, and up to 16 channels can be recorded on 1 inch tape. Spools for ¼ and ½ inch tape are also available. Features include push-button controls, provision for remote control, tape sensing for re-cycling and auto-stop, and a range of tape speeds.
