    A four-transistor portable record player operating from two internal dry batteries. Governor-controlled motor and amplifier batteries chosen to give equivalent life of approximately 150 hours hours under average conditions. Features a BSR model TU9D four speed player fitted with 4.5V DC motor, operates from 6V type 509 lantern battery; four-speed switch at side of turntable with on-off lever. Player is suitable for standard and LP discs, all speeds and sizes; pick-up with turnover sapphire styli. Pick-up equaliser and scratch filter. Two-tone plastic-covered wooden cabinet with collapsible carrying handle in balanced position. Colours: red/fawn or blue/grey. Lid fitted with stay hinges and new-style catches. Provision for carrying up to six 7" records within cabinet. Removable cabinet base for easy battery replacement. Battery connection made so that incorrect connections is impossible.
