  • This transportable radio is based on a Tait 2020 but extensively modified by PMR Products to make of capable of transmitting and receiving in AM as well as the usual FM. PMR systems housed this radio in a transportable case incorporating two 6V Lead - Acid batteries and a charge management board.
    It was procured for the English Fire and Rescue Services for use in forward command roles. Shortly after procurement, the Fire Service were forced to migrate to a TETRA digital system.
    The coverage of the radio is 66 - 88MHz.
