  • Notes
  • Tektronix 2440 DSO is a dual channel, 300  MHz bandwidth, 500 MS/s unit and was the top-of-the-line of the 24xx DSO series.

This device contain as input buffer sophisticated high speed charge-coupled devices (CCD). They work like the CCDs inside cameras, with the difference that the signal is serially clocked in in this case with 500 MHz, distributed onto four "sides" (mostly identical parts) of the CCD, moved forward by control electrodes that move the stored charge forward one bucket at a time to AD converter and memory.

    Bandwidth: 300 MHz
    No. of channels: 2ch
