The 122 PreAmplifier was designed specifically to increase the sensitivity of the Type 512 Oscilloscope to 5uV/cm, over the band of 1/6Hz to 40kHz.Thus a maximum voltage gain of 1000 is available, while a frequency compensated attenuator network permits the gain to be reduced to 100 to accommodate input signals of as much as 0.2V peak amplitude without distortion.
    Maximum Output: -20Vpp
The tube 2AX7 is special selected for differential balance.
