  • Notes
  • Self-contained three-stage amplifier designed primarily to increase the sensitivity of the Type 511, 511-A, and 511-AD oscilloscopes. A maximum voltage gain of 100 is available, increasing the sensitivity of the oscilloscope to 2.5 mv. per cm. A combination of step and continuous attenuators an the Type 121 provides a complete range of sensitivity from 2.5 mV/cm. to 25 V/cm without the use of the attenuators on the oscilloscope. Connection between the Type 121 and oscilloscope is via a matched 93-ohm co-axial cable so that the separation of the instruments may be 100 feet or more. As in all TEKTRONIX Instruments, primary emphasis has been placed an transient response. A bandwidth in excess of 12 Mhz, preserves the excellent rise time of the oscilloscope
