  • Bemerkung
  • The Telmaco Type B-R Receiver was a 1-Tube regenerative receiver manufactured for the Telephone Maintenance Company by Tri-City Electrical Supply Company who owned a Armstrong Regenerative Patent. This receiver was identical to the Blue Ribbon Regenerative Receiver,

    The well known book "1921-1932 Radio Collector's Guide" by Morgan E. McMahon lists on page 171 for Telephone Maintenance Co. (Telmaco) the following models: 1921: TRD-1 (no price); 1923: Telmaco (Reg. for $ 25 and we assume model B-R), followed by 6 models P-1:
    1924: Telmaco Acme P-1 (we call it "old" for distinction to the "new" Acme portable);
    1925: Acme P-1 ("new" Portable) for $ 125, P-1 ("old" Portable) for $ 147, P-1 (Kit "old") for $ 85;
    1926: P-1 ("new" Portable) for $ 125 and P-1 (Kit, "new") for $ 80.
    All these models with P-1 are shown as Reflex with 3-3 stages and one "Big tuning dial" and four tubes for batteries. It may well be that in this entry there are errors, for instance no distinction between model "old" or "new" or both kits are the same, but as a reference work (not a catalog!) we have to show all of them and to explain.
