    The Wireless Set Number 128 is an Australian made backpack radio used by the Australian Army in the Korean War.

    The frequency coverage is 2.0 - 4.5 MHz in one band, and has variable frequency tuning. It also has 3 crystal controlled channels for the transmitter and receiver. When used in a vehicle, a vibrator power supply was incorporated in the battery box. The unit can also be carried as a backpack with a control box strapped to the shoulder harness and connected to a microphone and earphone. A handset with microphone and earphone can also be plugged into the radio.
