    An updated version of the Wireless Set No.128 manufactured from 1952. The updated version incorporated an improved type of connector for the headset, microphone and Morse key and a rugged lightweight handset plus a number of minor changes to the set itself.

    The No.128 and No.128 Mk II were the main Australian military backpack radios towards the end of the Korean War and remained in service until progressively replaced by the AWA built A510 in 1955.
