  • The Truvox Series 50 was a single-motor hi-fi tape recorder with a 5-watt RMS output and two front-mounted speakers.

    The layout was neat and tidy with microphone input and microphone/gram mixer control to the left of the main keyboard and replay tone and volume controls to the right.
    Above the volume control were the three-digit tape counter and upper/lower track selectors above the tone control.

    The Series 50 was available as a half-track (52) or quarter track (54).
