At last.....a really efficient PORTABLE at a reasonable price. Under test in Wellington, in daylight, the PLAYDAY exceeded all expectations, 3YA (Christchurch) coming in at greater than comfortable listening strength, and even 4YA was readable.

The valves used are very economical on batteries, the consumption being 260 mA filament current, and 10 mA B current. Power output of the IQ5GT is 270 milliwats which gives ample volume for practically any use.

The KIT is supplied complete with Cabinet, as illustrated, and can be assembled in one evening. Cabinet measurements are: Height 10¾ in., width 9¾ in., depth 7in.

Price complete with valves and speaker £10/0/0.
