According to a full paged ad, the Courier Radio model 653 is equipped with the Kylectron electrostatic loudspeaker of the United Reproducers Corportation, invented by Colin Kyle. Probably a bit before, Vogt in Germany made and sold electrostatic loudspeakers under tha name Oszillofar.
