  • Converter from FM to AM, to be installed in distributed antenna systems.

    Receives one FM channel, and drives a small power am- transmitter. FM is received with a 240 ohm antenna, AM signal is fed into a distributed antenna system. This was a simple method to allow AM-only radio owners to listen a better quality program (AM signal quality was poor specially in the northern Finland).

    FM front end (ECC85), IF amplifier (EF80) and detector (OA72). AM modulation level control, oscillator and modulator tube. Power supply from antenna amplifier (teleste or other brand)
