The model Apex 80 Case 80 has a power supply which is connected through wires, but Apex 81 with the same tube line up has an integrated power supply on the chassis. See Case 81B and Case 81C. Here Cunningham tubes (CX3..) were lsited for case 80, but can also be normal RCA tubes (UX2...).
