  • The Burndept 309 is the same chassis. The Burndept 312 is a similar table model using TH2 rather than a FC2A and higher HT. The Burndept 314 has additional pushbuttons.

    There are two scale lamps operated by a button on the wavechange switch, 2V 300mA

    HT is Vidor L5039 or Vidor N°17060 (looks like the L5039). LT is the Vidor N°12007 accumulator, or any lead acid 2V cell that fits. Grid bias is via resistors between HT- and LT-, giving -1V and -5.5V.

    There is an internal frame aerial with coils for LW and MW. The chassis is removed by unclipping the handle and unbolting the handle studs. The output valve is a dual pentode for push pull, so a 4:1 driver transformer is used.
