  • The Voice Of Music model 1002 is a high-end AM/FM/Phonograph Stereo Console manufactured in 1960. The Voice of Music model 1001 is the same as model 1002, the only difference being the wood cabinet design.

    The tuner contains nine tubes. The pre-amplifier contains two tubes. The amplifier contains seven tubes. The reel-to-reel tape deck contains seven tubes.

    The single semiconductor in the tuner is a 1N87 germanium diode.

    The speakers are: 2 x 12 inch woofers and 2 x 4 inch tweeters.

    The console comes with a 40 page Owners Manual.

    There is a audio microphone included for recording to the reel-to-reel tape deck.

    The Automatic Clock Timer controls when the console will turn on and off for listening or for recording with the reel-to-reel tape deck.

    The amplifier/preamplifer/ tuner service manual is from the manufacturer. The record changer service manual is model 1201 from the manufacturer and Howard Sams Photofact #436-18. The reel-to-reel tape deck service manual is model 755 from the manufacturer and Howard Sams Photofact #581-12.
