• Wallace produced this receiver in the summer of 1911. The set featured a switchable crystal or Spherical Audion detector. The circuit employed was regenerative two years before Armstrong "invented" the regenerative circuit. Armstrong had been invited to operate this receiver in the summer of 1911. Reference from Gerald Tyne and the RJ4 detector and the Wallace mystery 1978.
