This is a typical AA5 octal tube radio. It has the addition of a tone switch which connects a capacitor to the audio circuits and reduces the higher frequency audio.
There is a coupling coil on the loop antenna to make external antenna connections but the connections are not extended to the back cover of the radio.
Wooden mounting blocks for the loop antenna and speaker are factory original.
No service data has been found for this model and the chassis is different than other AA5 Watterson models with service data.
The pecan wood cabinet was probably made in Texas. The chassis has a universal look and very likely was purchased from a high volume producer and modified to fit the cabinet.
