The Bearware Model 305273 Projection Alarm Clock is a VHF/FM radio receiver covering 87.5 - 108 MHz that incorporates time, temperature and humidity displays. The radio has 15 memory channels. The angle of the time projector can be adjusted to beam to a wall or a ceiling. Two different alarm settings can be programmed and the alarms can trigger a beeping sound or the radio. Sleep mode and a snooze function are provided. There is a fixed antenna wire.

The time projector has two levels of brightness. Three levels of brightness for the main display can be selected manually. Otherwise, an automatic mode can be selected in which the display changes to the low brightness if the ambient light level is low, as determined by a light sensor on the top of the case. If night mode is selected, the display is dimmed between 18h00 and 06h00, or during another programmed interval. When the clock is not switched on, the front panel has a mirror appearance.

The clock is powered from 100-240 V 50/60 Hz AC mains by a 5 V 2 A EU power adapter that is connected to the clock by a USB cable terminating in a right-angle coaxial jack. A 3 V CR2032 battery provides backup for the time and the alarm settings, and a Type-A USB port is provided on the rear panel for charging an external device such as a smartphone.
