• Screw-terminal board selects: power supply voltage (24VDC (0.130 amp), 48VDC (0.088 amp) or 12 with 30 VDC, input and output impedances (1.5, 600 or 2400 ohm), internal (3.2 ohm) or external speaker, enable/disable/remote (10K ohm) volume control, enable/disable on/off switch. Has internal gain pot in addition to front panel volume control; max gain 66dB. Max output 0.5W into 3.2 ohms. Other variants (106C-E) have automatic output level control (up to 35 dB). Removeable KS-16728-L1 amplifier board has 4 RCA type 2N270 transistors with push-pull output and no interstage transformer. The 106D-F variants use a pair of Western Electric 12M transistors and two 2N4036 push-pull drivers. All AT&T documentation I have show 106A-C using a pair of WE 12M transistors and two WE 12H push-pull drivers. AT&T documents don't show the RCA 2N270 transistors in the unit I have.
