  • Anotaciones
  • Rider's Perpetual volume 1 shows this Lafayette "Great Duo Symphonic" (GR.D.S.) under "Wholesale" instead of "Lafayette". The Lafayette model "Great Duo Symphonic" has one dial (primary tuning control knob) with a 4 gang tuning condenser. The two CX345 or 245 power output tubes form a push-pull. See also "Duo Symphonic 1931", "Duo Symphonic (1930)" with 9 tubes and "Duo-Symphonic Junior 1931" with 7 tubes. The question stays why it is called "Great" if it has only 8 tubes instead of 9 - and if it is really correct if it is not found in a catalog.

We have not found this model in a catalog so far and therefore we link here for the description of the different catalogs.
