The Globe Electronics 6 meter converters provide the amateur with a highly stable and low cost means of listening to 6 meter signals due to their printed circuit design. The units are designed to operate with any receiver having a frequency range of 600 to 1600 kHz or 10 to 14 MHz. Power for the converter may be obtained from the receiver in use or from an external power supply supplying 150-250V DC @ 15-18 mA and 6 or 12V AC/DC @ 850 mA.The series 6-PMC converters were designed for high signal-to-noise ratio, excellent sensitivity and minimum spurious response.
Models for output ranges of 550-1600 kHz or 10-14 MHz. (QST 1959 ad.)
