  • Remarques
  • The Yaesu HF/VHF/UHF Allmode Mobile Transceiver FT-857D has the DSP built in to a CPU beneath the Main Unit so there is no DSP connector or DSP switch on the top of the board. The FT-857D also has a high stability Ref Unit as standard.

    Detachable front plate.

Later versions of the FT-857D did away with the switch used for setting the pre-driver and driver idle currents on the Main Unit.

The idle current is then set a different way, detailed in more recent versions of the Service Manual (pdf).

This version is the U.K. / EU one and it had SO-239 socket for HF antenna and N-type socket for 2m/70cms antenna. The US version had SO-239 sockets for both antennas.

See also the version FT-857 without DSP-feature in receiving mode.
