  • Annotazioni
  • Developed around the new subminiature tubes in 1942, its production would not commence due to stop of commercial production during WWII.  However, government permission was granted in 1943 for the production even in wartime! The reason was that there were about ten million people hard of hearing in the country who were unable to serve in the military.  But they were able to work in war production facilities if they had a hearing aid.

The predecessor, the A2A was a two-piece hearing aid and needed external batteries. The model A2A early was equipped with two 6-pin miniature tubes 1T4 and 1R5.
The A2A late was equipped with one 6-pin miniature tube 1L4 and one early subminiature tube CK511X.

This model (A2AN), still a two-piece hearing aid, was the successor of the A2A with minor changes and available in pink and black.

The successor of the A2AN with three subminiature tubes is the A3A-B3A.
