  • The Zenith Royal 56-G is a solid state AM portable radio. The AM band frequency tuning range is 540 to1620kHz.  Operates from 3 different power sources: Rays of the sun, on batteries (4 x 1.5V) or from household current(120VAC). The solar cells are located in the carrying handle. Has push-pull audio output stage and earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening.

    Finish in Charcoal Color with Chrome Trim or White Color with Chrome Trim.
    Came with Carry case, earphone attachment, AC Battery recharger line cord.

    The SAMS TSM-74 calls out models 555C and 555W. However the SAMS index for model 56-G refers to this same SAMS reference and so therefore is applicable for this model also.
