  • Modèle de table profil bas (grand modèle).
  • Remarques
  • The tube 6J5GT starts in the market (in models) in 1939, not before. It carries first either a 6J5 or is not 1938/1939 but 1939.

Export model for Switzerland. Dial with Station Names (in German). Long Wave, Broadcast, and Short Wave. Actually, the set uses an EM34 which is a much later but equal tube for Europe, but for this date, Zenith must have used 6CD7 at the time of the model.

See the copy at the destination market, Switzerland, imported by Conrad Walser in Zürich.

This is  a ZENITH of unknown model, manufactured by Zenith Radio Corp, USA.  It is obviously an export model, believed to be manufactured in 1938 and sold in Switzerland in 1939.   We are unable to find a model munber anywhere on the radio or cabinet, but the Zenith chassis tag is printed:  Chassis # R636935.   We are posting several photos of the radio.  I would be very interested in learning more about this radio.   I acquired the radio on Ebay.de in 2004.  The tube line-up is posted.
Thanks!
