Below you find a part of the tube collection Ernst Erb.

First you can see the weather in my village Meggen near Lucerne - just that you know what you can insert on your profile. The camera takes a picture every 10 minutes - it might now be night here ... See also the view 40 minutes to the east on Rigi and also 40 minutes to the west - Mount Pilatus. A few minutes more and you are at Mount Titlis at 9908 feet above sea level (3020 m).

Als Kind packte mich das Radiofieber: Schon bald reparierte ich alte Radios, die ich bei Radiohändlern billig erstand, statt Hausaufgaben zu machen. Die funktionierenden Radios verkaufte ich dann mit einem kleinen Aufpreis an Kollegen etc. Meine Eltern arbeiteten beide ...
Trotzdem hatte ich dann im Beruf den Erfolg, der mich erst später wieder mit Radios befassen liess. Meine Notizen für mich habe ich dann zum Buch «Radios von gestern» zusammengefasst und meine Sammlung von antiken Telekommunikationsgeräten, Röhren, Radios und Literatur in eine «Stiftung Radiomuseum Luzern» eingebracht, damit z.B. die bedeutende Sammlung von Schweizergeräten aus den 20er Jahren erhalten bleiben kann.
Nun bin ich aber bei diesem Museum wie der Zauberlehrling in grosser Arbeit gefangen ...

Baugruppe aus JP9-7D + RK2K25 + VDX-1080 <br /> Dieses ist möglicherweise die Sende- Empfangs-Einheit eines Radar-Gerätes. Das Impuls-Magnetron ist der Sender und das Reflex-Klystron 2K25 ist der Umsetzoszillator des Empfängers. Unter der Schraubkappe neben dem 2K25 befindet sich eine Mischdiode. Es handelt sich um eine Spitzendiode (1N23 ?), die durch die Impulsenergie des Magnetrons sofort abbrennen würde. Deshalb ist eine Sperre für die Impulsenergie erforderlich. I.a. verwendet man da eine 'Nullode', die gasgefüllt ist und die zündet, wenn genügend HF-Energie eintrifft. (Varian als Marke spricht dafür.) Dadurch wird der Weg vom Magnetron zur Mischdiode gesperrt. Gasentladungs-Röhren haben eine Zündverzögerung. Diese kann man minimieren, wenn das Gas durch Radioaktivität leicht ionisiert wird.
