This model was perhaps modified: the cabinet is very close to model A45 (typical 1934-36 appearance, but mirrored) but with the octal tubes the earliest date for this line-up would be 1939. We can't say if the receiver A45 has been sold in 1939/40 with an updated chassis, but it appears unlikely.
