Dear Colleagues,
The Continental and/or Imperial models can be somewhat confusing. Earlier I added the model I6024W to my small collection; and recently acquired the Imperial 601W with the "partial UKW" installed - hoping to enjoy the wider frequency band as the model data reflects.
However, the installed UKW components in the 601W and the 602W - appear to be incomplete yet; until the tuning condenser assembly has the added small portion for "full reception".
I believe our member Eilert Menke correctly stated that UKW reception is not so good ( Iam paraphrasing his words to Herr Pohlmann).
Perhaps my "research" has convinced me that I have only a "prototype" model.
Respectfully,
Robert
NOTE: The maker name Continental is NOT identified in any place on my model 601W.
Added comment: I have also reviewed the threads posted by the gentlemen Martin Steyer and Ernest Erb
