Philco's first "cathedral" type cabinet. One dial (primary tuning control knob).
The "-B" (for "Baby Grand") suffix for cathedrals was not used by Philco until later models, although some collectors may call this model "20B".
For the model 20 series, Philco used the term "Baby Grand" for both the cathedral and console versions, unlike later models where "Baby Grand" was used exclusively for cathedrals.Stein "Cathedral & Tombstone Radios" lists 6 tubes.

I believe that the pictured Philco Model 20 is a "Deluxe" model as indicated on http://archives.radioattic.com/archive_p1.htm. I discovered this while I tried to figure out how to upload information on my most recent restoration, a Model 20 (non-deluxe model).
If some one would be so kind as to help me figure out how to contribute a picture and information for a standard Philco model 20 I would be appreciative.
