  • The Philips model 90RL434/22 has a similar appereance as 90RL412 but is bigger in size. The 90RL434 has Four band reception (LW, MW, SW and FM), selectable by the four press-button switches on top. The SW reception is from 6 to 18 MHz. Of the two tuning knobs, the wide one is for coarse tuning in SW, and for tuning in LW, MW and FM. The narrow knob is for fine tuning in SW. Internal bar antenna for LW and MW reception. Telescope antenna for FM and SW reception. Slider controls for volume and treble. Power supply either by six 1.5 V D type batteries, or by power cord. The mains input voltage is switchable between 110 and 220V. It automatically switches to mains power when connected, in order to save the batteries. The bottom has a separate compartment for storing the power cord. The speaker has an output of 1.5 Watts. Connections on the back: head phone (small jack) and DIN connector. The DIN connector accepts input signals from e.g. a record player, and via switch on the back this external signal can be played on the radio speaker.
