  • Bemerkung

  • According to the plans from June 1958 the Concerton V518 uses the same chassis like Conserton V5048, DUX V1385 and Philips BS371A, B4S71A, H4S73A. At the back side of this model you can find the print Concerton (with "C") which indicates an error OR a wrong "back wall".

    In any case will you find that the pre war maker and from 1936 on only brand not maker within Philips, Stern & Stern used the name Concerton (wich "C") on pre war and post war models. We have not yet cleared everything for this mystery about the name of V518 and we have not yet decided if we should keep the different brands of Philips for Sweden separately but Stern & Stern is already separated since this was a separate maker before (EE).

    The name on the back is correct. In 1957 NEFA changed the company name from Concerton to Conserton. Please see forum topic: Why did Philip's change Concerton to Conserton in 1957?
