I have got this rig at low price for parts.There was no reception and no emission.In fact,2 connectors was misplaced under the IF circuit,it must be 2 free pins in the center referring to the service manual.After this  the receiver became operational but with the same problems I encoutered on my R820.Happily it is possible to remove the cover plate without removing the VFO.I put only deoxyd and the problems was cleared.Now transmitting is operational,but only till the driver as the two 6146B are missing.I am waiting for them at this time.
