  • The Lord Kelvin's (William Thomson) Patents Vertical Electro Static Volt Meter is normally called Electrostatic Voltmeter or in German Elektrostatisches Voltmeter.     The "Kelvin Vertical Electrostatic Voltmeter" was made by the same company, but later very similar by KELVIN, BOTTOMLEY & BAIRD, LTD LATE KELVIN & JAS.WHITE LTD in Glasgow and London. That quite later model was sold by Christies for £ 456 (at that time $ 901) in May 2007.
