  • Anotaciones
  • The Bib Model 20 Recording Tape Splicer is made of nickel-plated brass, mounted on a non-slip flock-covered plywood base. It could alternatively be removed from the base and mounted directly on a tape deck with 6BA bolts and nuts or self-tapping screws.

The splicer is intended for 0.25" reel-to-reel tape and can be used for normal diagonal cuts, or for right angle cuts where close editing to within a syllable is required. Supplied with one razor blade.

The splicer was also supplied as part of a Model 23 Tape Editing Kit that included 12 tape reel and box labels, a dispenser of splicing tape, and a tape marker pencil in a plastic wallet.

Later, a Bib splicer was also manufactured for the 0.15" wide tape used in cassettes. It only makes right-angle cuts.
