Phonographe New Perfecta Modèle No. 1 deuxième version

Phonographs (for cylinders) Gaulois and New Perfecta, Pathé, circa 1905. The Perfecta (right) is the later model, in which the Orpheus link is recessed and folds back onto the mechanism when not in use. This example is "reversible", that is, it has a hollow plinth that serves as a case when storing the machine, while the base of the mechanism is reversed to form a lid, with the mechanical part suspended underneath.

Fonografi (per cilindri) Gaulois e New Perfecta, Pathé, 1905 circa. il Perfecta (a destra) è il modello più tardo, nel quale il collegamento Orpheus è incassato e si ripiega sul meccanismo allorchè non è usato. Questo esemplare è «reversibile», cioè ha un plinto cavo che serve da cassa quando si ripone la macchina, mentre il basamento del meccanismo viene rovesciato a formare un coperchio, con la parte meccanica sospesa al di sotto.
